Where to begin ~ checklists

Personal assistant, housekeeping, child care services and cooking are separate job descriptions which can be mixed & matched so long as we agree (in writing) about which duties I am to perform. This will help alleviate the stress of uncertainties.

What is your definition of "light" versus "thorough" house keeping and/or cleaning?
How many loads of laundry week?
Who does the ironing?
Am I designated to a specific area & specific duties?
What is not allowed- off limits?
Work schedule expected?
Define common areas?
Do you supply all cleaning essentials?
Do you need trash disposed of? Days & times?

Please see Shops & Markets for specialty shops, markets and farms where I normally purchase quality foods and ingredients. I will clean all produce at your home in the sink with baking soda; and properly store goods in containers and cupboards.

Additional fixes & repairs:

Are your door or drawer knobs loose or falling off? Wind blowing under your doors? Need weather-stripping? Does something need sanding? Old furniture that could use a little posh-ing up or refurbishing? Doors & cupboards slamming? Need pads? Perhaps you need a shelf installed or removed? Or a smaller load of junk, old carpet, & boxes taken to the dump or recycle station? Perhaps even a small room looks tired & you want to freshen it up for guests or an Airbnb? A consultation will be required unless I am already employed by you - then we can discuss while I am there.
